Meet Reynaldo. After going through a difficult time where his family did not have enough, Reynaldo vowed to get them through. He was a successful electrical technician with a variety of technical skills, so he picked up any odd job he could find. This led him to be a factory worker, messenger, janitor, grass cutter, operator, carpenter, and maintenance worker– quite a mix! He went to each job with the same attitude, “In our work, as long as I know how to do it, I will do it. I am not a complainer.”
During the pandemic, Reynaldo’s family found relief when he found a job at Dignity. This work has helped them through the challenging times they were in and given them the hope to dream for more. He is thankful to be close to his family and live an honest life. Reynaldo sometimes pictures what his life would be like if he worked abroad, but continues to remember the importance of home. He shares that his family is never selfish, whether they have money or not.
Reynaldo believes that being a good person will continue to bring his family through the hard times and give them a happiness nothing else could. He is able to use many of his unique skills in his new role and enjoys being a part of the impact at Dignity. Reynaldo continues to provide for his family and is excited to see what paths his children pursue in the future.
After a challenging time living and working in the city, Clint learned that he did not need to sacrifice being near family to provide for them.
