I used to think that Hawkeye was a terrible Avenger. How is this guy with no superpowers going to last one minute against a villain with super human abilities, let alone help fight. Thanks to the new series, he has come to be my favorite because I can relate to him. No flying, no super speed, and no super strength. He's simply a guy who mastered skills to solve the world’s problems (yes, and he has a few cool trick arrows).

Most coconut companies contract only with big plantations in order to reduce costs. This leaves owners of small farms at the mercy of middlemen who consolidate these smaller harvests while taking a large cut for themselves.
Middlemen take advantage of these farmers by offering loans in their time of need. On the outside, these middlemen look friendly. However, these loans come at a high price with interest rates between 25-200% making it impossible to ever pay back.
Today, 60% of coconut farmers around the world live below the poverty line.
The average annual income for a coconut-farming household is around $355 a year, which averages out to less than one dollar a day.
After more than 800 years, modern-day slavery and human trafficking still exists and continues to exploit millions of people around the globe.

We give farmers an opportunity to get fair prices for their coconuts and be treated with respect. We train each farmer in organic practices, so that they can compete and have a higher wage, therefore a better way of living. Also, on the top of every Dignity Raw Organic Coconut Oil jar (15oz) are the names (signatures!) of real people who now have a source of livelihood, can send their children to school without financial burden, and more importantly, live with dignity and free from exploitation. These are the people who worked to create the jar of coconut oil you now use.

In honor of Fathers' Day, we are celebrating 5 dads who transformed their families lives by working at Dignity. In the Philippines, there are constant factors that threaten to break families apart. From natural disasters, lack of work, substance abuse, and sickness it was found that 1 in 3 children grow up without both parents. Dignity brings families back together by providing a safe work environment and job security. These fathers live out the mission of Dignity by caring for their families and doing whatever it takes to create a better life.
Clint, Gerone, Jayson, Junel, and Ernan want to be able to put food on the table, a roof over their head, send their children to school, and spend time with their families. Without a stable job, these basic needs and wants become far-fetched dreams. These 5 lives are connected by a common thread: Dignity became part of their “village”, allowing these fathers to invest in their families and communities.
