Meet Jovy Ann. She is part of a loving and supportive family of seven and currently works as a production line leader at Dignity. She loves music, traveling and is always up for a new adventure. Before working at Dignity she worked as a production worker in another city. Jovy Ann is one of the breadwinners for her family and her wish for them is to have the good life they deserve. A dream she has for herself is to be able to travel and see the world. One of her hardest challenges was when she wanted to go to college, but was unable due to her family’s poverty. It was difficult watching all of her high school friends go off to college and leave her behind. She ended up being bullied by her friends and wondered ‘why was I born into a poor family?’ Eventually she started building walls around her and blocking out everyone including her family. Enter Dignity. Jovy Ann is one of the Line Leaders in the Production Department, particularly in the Packaging Area. As a leader, it is her responsibility to ensure that all materials needed have enough stocks. She also makes sure that things are working in a proper and organized manner. She is always encouraging her team to hit the delivery target effectively and efficiently, especially during rush orders. Before she was stubborn and cold when dealing with others and did not like to show her emotions, however all of that faded away when she started working at Dignity. Along with her colleagues, her life improved in a way where she was able to overcome her struggles and build her self esteem back up. She has found true friends that support her through thick and thin and have created such a big impact on her life. Besides providing for her financially, working at Dignity has taught her how to care and love and also be loved. Saying thank you would not be enough to express her gratitude.
