I am a cheerful person even if I no longer have a father. I stand as father to my three siblings. My mother is sad with the death of my father. I have gotten used to working daily. I like working every day.

Mine is just a simple family. Even if we are poor, we are happy. Even if life is hard, we help each other to make our lives better.

Before working at Dignity, I used to be a fisherman in the open seas. Sometimes I work as an “extra” laborer when there were house constructions going on.

At Dignity, I am a coconut hauler. I pick up coconuts from the farms. Later, I clean the vehicle we used for hauling.

My hope is really just to be able to help my family. I want to work to be able to send my three siblings to school.

My biggest challenge in life was when my father passed away. I surpassed it by exerting effort and filling the void my father left in the family.

I am proud to be working at Dignity because I am able to help my family. Since I began working at Dignity, our life has improved and my three siblings are now able to go to school.
